How did you get involved with Pitt Program Council?

It was my second semester freshman year and I wanted to be involved in an on-campus activity and Pitt Program Council seemed like a perfect fit. I thought that they were doing a bouquet making event and I really wanted one and the rest is history. I loved how Pitt Program Council offered so many free events to students while being able to cultivate the leadership skills I wanted.

What does the Recreation committee do?

Recreation committee plans a lot of events that are competitive and outdoorsy as well as active. Some of our most recent events include horseback riding, kayaking, ziplining and Rolling with Roc (an indoor roller skating event we had in January) in the WPU Ballroom

What has been your favorite Recreation event from this school year?

My favorite event this year was Terrarium Plant Potting, because so many of my committee members were involved and I loved seeing all of them. We wouldn’t be able to do any of the Pitt Program Council events without them.

When does the Recreation committee meet?

6:00 pm on Monday’s or come chat with me by email or during my office hours!
