Advertising

The Advertising Committee creates all Pitt Program Council ads to circulate campus including flyers, posters, Pitt news ads, and more. Look out for our event signs, window stickers, and sidewalk decals around campus!

Arts & Film

The Arts & Film Committee plans and organizes programs such as movie screenings, open mic nights, and art workshops throughout the year. Recent events include an advanced screening of the film Bros and Film on the Lawn where “The Breakfast Club” was shown!

Lecture

The Lecture Committee presents a variety of debates, lectures, and comedians throughout the year. Past guests include Seth Meyers, Maya Angelou, Ice-T, Eric Stonestreet, and Kenan Thompson. Most recent speakers include Connor Franta, Aly Raisman, Ben Crump and more!

Interest Exploration

The Interest Exploration Committee organizes educational and classic events for students including cooking classes, beer & wine tastings, painting sessions, Valentine’s Day flower arranging, and the annual Day at the Spa.

Public Relations

Want to spend even more time on social media? The Public Relations Committee arranges all promotions for the Pitt Program events, working to spread the word of events throughout the entire university. This committee is responsible for the website and all social media management including Facebook, Twitter, TikTok & Instagram.

Recreation

Want to get up and get out? The Recreation Committee focuses on all things active! These include horseback trail rides, skiing/snowtubing, kayaking, goat yoga, axe throwing and so much more. We takes trips off campus as well as bringing activities on campus, activities go by fast, but memories last a life time!

Special Events

The Special Events Committee plans staple Pitt events, responsible for the annual Black & White Ball, homecoming Laser & Fireworks show, and campus concerts, Fall Fest and Bigelow Bash. Past concert performers include X Ambassadors, Walk the Moon, Lupe Fiasco, 21 Pilots, and most recently, Lauv and Flo Milli!

Travel

The Travel Committee coordinates day and overnight trips for students to enjoy. Join us on our annual New York City trip, or to a Penguins game! Past trips include Cedar Point, Falling Water, and Hundred Acres Manor Haunted House.
