What made you want to be a Pitt Program Council Director?

I wanted to give students the chance to enjoy university life outside the classroom. I wanted to give them stories to tell after graduation. Due to the pandemic, my first year at Pitt was inactive and quiet. When the opportunity to become a Pitt Program Council Director opened up, I jumped at the chance to make sure no more students would an inactive and quiet time at Pitt.

What does the The Arts committee do?

The Arts committee plans and executes events on focus on all types of art, the visual arts, dramatic or cinematic. The type of events the committee plans are very flexible.

What has been your favorite The Arts event from this school year?

Overall, my absolute favorite Arts event from this year HAS to be Movie on the Lawn. We showed The Breakfast Club on a giant, raised screen on the Cathedral Lawn! It was a great weekended over; everyone was still super excited from the Backyard Brawl and the weather was AMAZING! We made a great turnout and great movie!

The Arts & Film Committee meets Thursday evenings at 6PM!
